The London Teenage Poetry SLAM in Chicago

I make a pilgrimage to the birthplace of the poetry slam: the legendary Green Mill, where I meet slam founder Marc Smith. He tells me there is space in slam for all kinds of styles, not just the bombastic. And proves it too. The slam is warm, humorous and all about the poetry.
