(Monday, 9th of November…) A day of shopping. We headed downtown led by our resident shopping guru Bismark. The less retail-inspired among us took pictures (like this one) and gazed at the towering buildings, unexpected street art and interesting people we saw along the way. By 3pm we were back at Oak Park & River Forest High School, ready to give feedback to students from Peter Kahn’s Spoken Word Club in preparation for the Fall Showcase. Max was quickly identified as the Simon Cowell of the group…
